ADAS Calibration in Denver — Colorado's First Mobile Calibration Service
Your windshield is a sensor housing. Every modern vehicle with lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, or a forward-facing camera requires ADAS recalibration after windshield replacement. We were the first in Colorado to offer mobile calibration. We include it with every applicable windshield replacement.
Your Safety Systems Depend on This.
ADAS — Advanced Driver Assistance Systems — refers to the suite of camera and sensor-based safety technologies in modern vehicles. Lane departure warning. Automatic emergency braking. Adaptive cruise control. Rain sensors. Heads-up display. Forward collision warning. Blind spot monitoring. Every one of these systems relies on sensors or cameras that are mounted at or near the windshield.
When your windshield is replaced, the camera bracket position changes by fractions of a millimeter relative to the vehicle centerline. That fraction of a millimeter translates to feet or yards of targeting error at highway distances. A lane-departure system that is off by 0.5 degrees of camera angle will not detect the lane correctly at speed. An auto-braking system that is miscalibrated may not trigger in time — or may trigger incorrectly. These are not theoretical risks.
We were the first company in Colorado to offer mobile ADAS calibration. We use OEM-grade calibration targets and equipment to perform both static and dynamic calibration depending on your vehicle's requirements. Static calibration is performed at a fixed location using precise targets placed at manufacturer-specified distances. Dynamic calibration is performed while driving the vehicle through a defined maneuver sequence. Some vehicles require both.
Every windshield replacement we perform includes an ADAS check. If your vehicle requires calibration, we identify it at the quote stage and include it in the job. We do not install a windshield and leave your safety systems uncalibrated. That is not how we operate.
ADAS Systems We Calibrate
- ✅ Forward-Facing Camera — Lane departure, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning
- ✅ Adaptive Cruise Control Radar — Front radar sensor alignment and ranging calibration
- ✅ Rain & Light Sensors — Auto-wiper and auto-headlight sensor calibration
- ✅ Heads-Up Display (HUD) — Projector alignment after glass replacement
- ✅ Rear Camera & Surround View — System alignment and image correction
- ✅ Blind Spot Monitoring — Rear corner radar sensor calibration
Our ADAS Calibration Process
ADAS Identification
We identify your vehicle's complete ADAS configuration at the quote stage using your VIN. We know before we arrive exactly what calibration your vehicle requires.
Windshield Installation
New windshield installed, sealed, and cured per our standard installation process. ADAS calibration begins after the glass is fully seated and inspected.
Static Target Setup
Calibration targets placed at OEM-specified distances and heights from the vehicle. Surface must be level — we verify and adjust as needed.
Calibration Sequence
Diagnostic tool connects to the vehicle's OBD port and runs the manufacturer's calibration protocol. System captures targets, adjusts camera alignment, and stores calibration parameters.
Dynamic Drive (if required)
Some vehicles require a drive cycle to complete calibration. We perform the required route at specified speeds and conditions to complete the sequence.
Verification & Documentation
Calibration confirmed complete with no active fault codes. Results documented. Your safety systems are back to factory specification.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you come to me, or do I have to bring my vehicle to a shop?
We come to you. Mobile service is our default, not an upgrade. We dispatch to homes, offices, parking lots, jobsites, and driveways across the Denver Metro, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder, and statewide by appointment. If you are parked somewhere we can reach, we can work there. -
What is ADAS calibration and why do I need it?
ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems — the suite of safety technologies built into modern vehicles including lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rain sensors, and heads-up displays. Most of these systems use cameras and sensors mounted to or near the windshield. When the windshield is replaced, the camera position changes by fractions of a millimeter, which is enough to throw off the calibration. Driving without recalibration after replacement means your safety systems are not working correctly. This is a critical safety issue, not an upsell. -
Does my vehicle need ADAS calibration after a windshield replacement?
If your vehicle was manufactured after roughly 2012 and has any camera-based safety systems, yes. This includes most modern vehicles with features like lane keep assist, forward collision warning, or automatic emergency braking. We identify your ADAS configuration when you call for a quote and include calibration in the job when required. We were the first in Colorado to offer mobile ADAS calibration. -
What ADAS systems do you calibrate?
We calibrate all camera-based and radar-based ADAS systems including forward-facing cameras (lane departure, automatic braking), rear cameras, surround-view systems, rain and light sensors, and heads-up display alignment. We work on all makes and models using OEM-grade calibration equipment.
What Our Customers Say
"Chad responded quickly and gave me a quote over the phone shortly after giving him the VIN. Incredible team!! Summer called me shortly after to confirm my appt and set me up. When I arrived, I arrived early and there was one person ahead of me. They worked quickly and well. Chad and Zac were able to get my windshield replaced before the next customer arrived and I was able to make it to my doctor's appt instead of rescheduling. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Thanks Guys!"
